Pakistan Air Force Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar became the first female pilot martyr

Pakistan Air Force Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar became the first female pilot martyr while she was on a routine training mission with her instructor today. A technical fault emerged in FT-7PG and plane crashed near Kundian, Mianwali. Marium got injured in the incident but could not fight her injuries.
The brave woman had opined that most of the people think that a lot of restrictions are placed on women in Pakistan but they should come to the country and see the current progress for themselves. She felt proud and honored to be a part of PAF and considered that it groomed her, gave her an identity and gave her confidence to face the world. It should be observed that Pakistani women are not only flying on the front ranks but are also giving their lives for the country. We salute you, Marium!
